When you say you "repainted" it, you make it sound like you got it pre-made and then just painted it. I know for a FACT that I helped you build that from scratch.

That's not the way it was supposed to sound. It looked really bad before now it doesn't. You carved that stuff in the sign.

Do you wish you'd made the steps wide enough to accomodate a 1" base or have those worked out ok for you?

Actually yes I wish it could fit a base. I guess I wasn't really thinking that when we made it but afterwards I did. I haven't tested the steps out but it looks like it wouldn't fit.
