I would drop the DA Exarchs and take some anti tank weapons on the serpents.

thats not a good idea. BLs are horrible for their cost.

No way. Losing the Exarch/bladestorm combo on those squads really cuts down on their potential firepower. As for AT on the Serpents, Scatter lasers are as good as it gets. They are actually the best transport killer in the eldar arsenal (that serpents can have). Yeah they don't do great against armour higher than AV11 but none of the other weapons do either. High AV targets are what he has the FD serpents and a seer council for.

Looks like a good fast striking force. like Tortoiseer said The Exarch really boosts the combat capability of the squad

Wuest, there is really no fat on this list to trim. It's competitive. I'd say my only real gripe is just playstyle. I don't play the way you do
with my mechdar so wouldn't make a list quite like this. However, the shuricannon walkers are a good departure from the scatterwalkers
everyone takes.

The only real criticism one could have, I believe, is that it's so 'optimal' that you really can't afford to lose anything on turn 1 without
severely impacting your game. Outflanking the walkers would alleviate much of that though as you can feign an attack but move
devensive and let your superior firepower work for you.

I am fairly sure that he will indeed outflank the walkers, otherwise 24 inches seems short.

Thanks for the replies.

The DA Exarchs will stay. Blade storm in concert is priceless. In the next round, the DA units can eventually re-embark.

I hope you have better luck of that than I do! Yea, the exarchs should definitely not go.

edit: yea, 24 inches. That's what I get for staying up all night.

Well, War Walkers can scout.
Thus they have a potential range of 6'' (scout) + 6'' (move) + 24'' (shoot).
