I'm making the most of a camera I've borrowed today, I thought you might like to see my kit bashed Havocs (Sorry if loads of people have already done this idea). I'm not much of a fan of the GW ones, so I bought a dev box set, and chopped up some spare IG autocannons I had, mixed them with chaos marine bits and this is the result. The Champions head is stolen from one of my early works, hence the poor camo effect, he's sporting an Alpha Legion shoulder pad which hasn't come out very well in the pics.

Let me be the first to say that these are pretty cool. Normally when people mix loyalist and Chaos parts in any capacity, the whole thing just looks too Chaos-y to be Imperial, but too Imperial to be Chaos. This hits it pretty well to tell you the truth. I really like that you added the wide out vents that the Chaos backpacks have - it really ties the figure together.

The beakie on the champion is a little odd, since I never see any Chaos version of the beakie helmet. Also having binoculars is a bit silly since Space Marines have that kind of thing in their helmets. That's just nitpicking though - these are really nice. What legion do they belong to? Alpha Legion as the sergeant, or another legion?

Thanks for the comments. It was quite a challenge getting the lascannon cabling wired up to the chaos backpack, but worth it to avoid the 'too Imperial look'.
As for the beaky marine (Mk6 armour?), I've always liked them since back in the Rogue Trader days and have a few of these dudes in my army, but I really wanted one to be in charge of a squad. As for the binos, I really wanted to make him look like he was obviously spotting for the heavy weapon dudes, even though it might lack a little 'realism'.
The squad is part of my Alpha Legion Mercenary army, mercenary CSMs led by Alpha Legionaires for reasons as yet unknown to the Imperium.....

The Nightlords picture in the previous codex showed a beakie - one of my favorite pieces of chaos art, actually. Agree on the binoculars though. The weapons look big, but hey, they're supermen, so it works for me. Alot better than they do as imp guard tripod weapons in many ways, actually.
