So I am a your basic Marine Sergent...s4 with a power fist AND furios charge

For the first turn when I charge I get s5..does the Power fist doubles my strength and I get s10(for the first turn?)or do I still get my basic s8

its makes you str4(5), so you double you're strength, then add 1. So str9!

Because the rules say so on page 7 of the rulebook.

Funnily enough, it deals with this EXACT situation.

As much as I understand and use BEDMAS on a regular basis, and I have read the multiple modifiers section in the rules, it still doesn't make sense to me. From a simple rules as written point of view the +1 Strength from furious charge is a hard stat to his actual strength where as the power fist is a passive stat that only maters when using the power fist. I would argue that using BEDMAS it would be (S+1)*2. Alas as GWS loves to take rules as written and rules as intended with a grain of salt and mix them as they see fit, as evidence by the now ungodly powerful deffrolla, I agree it is S*2 then add 1.
