I don't see this as being "pic heavy" if there's only one picture. From what I can see that Marine looks pretty cool though - I'd love to see some closer up shots so I can get a feel for what's what.

A freind tried the glow thing on his blood angels about a year ago, but he overused it even including it on power weapons (which he had many). It just ended up as too much.

Yes i agree i have also seen it over used.

I love these guys! You painted them nicely. I would take care of the mold lines on the plasma gunner's left leg. But again, very nice.

Actualy I'm suprised more people don't do that for chaos armies

Yeah it was just a thing that came into my head one day , it does however need a little darkening ( if thats a word ) on the guardsman armour i think the yellow is a little too bright do you agree ?

Also is there anything that you think the squad needs for example a standard bearer or something ?

Chaos don't generaly go in for baners and such. Thats more like loyalist territory.
Chaos stick more to trophy racks.
But dont make these now. Make them to commerate a win so they actualy mean something. Eg. after a particuallar casulty heavy battle against blood angels i modelled some blood angels heads on some of the hardest fighters.

Do the heads in the classic beserker red and the rest in ur army colurs to unify it. but thats just what i'd do.

I like the overall look of the army, mabye weathering on the close combat weapons

Wish I could paint silver like that. My DIY SM chapter was meant in my mind to have silver armour like that but it turned out not so good

I like the look of the IC's but for some reason i just don't think the Zerkers red helm looks good on that scheme. even though i know the IC's have BoK in there units.

Ok thank you for the comments guys. Dragonchef any ideas on what colour i should do the berserker head , as i said this is just a test model the scheme can always be alterd. Young_Logan i dont quite understand what you mean by weathering on the CC weapons , do you mean like blood or something else please let me know and i will give it a go. Also VikingScott the silver is really easy to paint all i did was a chaos black prime on the model , then a tin bitz drybrush , after that a boltgun metal heavy dry brush X 2 , a wash of Badab black all over and to finish off a highlight with chainmail.

I think you should paint the trim on the helmet as a metal colour instead of the red.

So you mean like a metallic red?

If you want a metallic red, you can paint it by base-coating the model in silver, and using red washes, or better yet inks to make it red.
But I believe munch was trying to say paint the trim bronze or silver.
