Just picked up a one of the new SM dreads, very nice. Was quite shocked to discover it doesnt have the bits for a left arm missile pod. Any suggestions on howto convert one from something else to work on this?

~1500pts.

You could use a Whirlwind missile pod.

Either use and old pod or make one of you own using a whirlwind missile pod to scratch build?

Considered both of those, which is effectivly just the same as buying a whole new dread cost-wise. Was kind of hoping anyone had a cheap suggestion. I suppose a second dread couldnt hurt however, though I would likely want another missile launcher for that hmm =/

Edit; While suggestions are still welcome, it occured to me a dodgy alternative that should fit my purposes. Reversing one of the right arms, and greenstuffing on some rockets, and plasticarding up the back. Not going to win a golden demon or anything, but should do.

The normal one comes with it or at least still should. What about just using a bits site and buying the arm itself?

Using some of the Ork rokkits from the bits service and some cardstock?

Or look on eBay for the missile pod arm. There should still be plenty floating around.

Do you have any Drop pods?

If so the deathwind launcher is a good bit to use since it's crap on the pod.
