has anyone else noticed the aquilas on he treads of the chaos land raider? its in the pic on page 78 of the codex. Im not 100% sure if its in the current kit for the LR but i assume it is. Personaly I find this to be mildly funny. One would assume that the chaos space marines would have replaced them or somthing. But it is probibly just GW trying to save money
It's more of an attempt to gain money really (if you believe in those conspiracies anyways). By adding those aquilas it is forcing those who care about how the treads look to buy chaos treads instead.
I believe it's just GW being cheap. It's the same exact kit as the loyalist marine LR, just a different accessory sprue. I mean, the giant aquilla on the front hatch? Wasn't fun to remove...
