If you have a specific paint that you use or is your favorite, please post the name and why? Vallejo, reaper, P3, etc.
If you use a mix of brands, do you find yourself gravitating towards a specific company more and more?

Just wondering which paints you guys think are worth it.

I use GW because it's the easiest to find, plus it's handy to look on the GW tutorials and see which colors they used to get certain effects. The only non-GW product I use aside from glue etc is Reaper Drying Retarder.

I have a bunch of different paints ,
i'll try to group them together to quality i guess:

Good: Vallejo , P3 , (not sure about reaper since the color selection i bought is limited to brighter colors )

Soso: Games Workshop , Apple Barrel , Delta , Pearl Essence , Folkart

Of course GW been grouped with the soso crowd means nothing as its 5x more expensive.

There is also Tamiya , which i use for the bright almost neon colors.

I use GW, because it's what the FLGS has the best selection of.

Yeah I think local stock is a big consideration- I do believe my FLGS carries both GW and vellejo- maybe limited reaper. I'm actually always pleasantly surprised at how good my FLGS is at keeping stuff in stock. Still, it's a tiny little hole haha.

Is it uncommon for gamestores to stock vallejo?

Depends , the store might be Pro GW which will tend to carry GW paint instead of Vallejo

Gw except for blood red, white, and black. I use 83 cent craft tubes for those. I use 'em becuase I know the colors already.
