So yes, I have a bunch of either not painted, semi-painted, painted but not coherent with anything else or just random.
So I will start with the Trygon(prime) that I started tonight, and I will show the colors of my cannon fodder as well, showcased on a nice termagant.

I used rotting flesh on the trygon. I am dry brushing the full model, then re doing the skin. then the carapace will be scaly green outlined in chaos black. He SHOULD be done tomorrow. I have a ton of stuff left. I dread it. =/ haha

I personally like my nids bright. There very detailed so there’s lots of room for creativity. You should check out as many pic as you can first then settle on a nice scheme. Because most of your stuff is unpainted take a couple and test out some colour combos and put them next to each other.

When I start taking full army photos today and posting them you can see what I have. I just haven't had a lot of opportunity to play or paint as of late because we are doing a D&D 3.5 campaign that we "HAVE" to play every week. so less time from my lovely bugs

Your nids look pretty cool and I like the color scheme that you have chosen.

One suggestion though.....

It seems you are using your webcam or cell phone camera and because of that your pics can be a bit unclear and hurts the overall effect of your models and for us to try and give you accurate advice on your models.

Other than that you seem to be on the right track of things.

Hope to see some more soon

The scheme on your Tau is cool, but most of the pics are a bit blurry.

Which army? and the tyranids, I am asking if there is anything I should do to make them stand out more or any techniques or ideas to implement

Unfortunately, no one will be able to give you detailed criticism because you are using an extremely sub-par method to show us your work. The comments you are getting are about as detailed as the pics allow atm. The resolution, focus and color are horrible, or to be precise, you used a webcam

Post again with a dedicated camera, even a compact, and the comments will flow in i'm sure. Good luck!

Nice Tau you have there. Almost the same paint scheme I used once on my Tau army

I'm guessing you used dark angel green, regal blue, a bit of scab red, and highlighted the edges?

I might almost pity my enemy....if it wasn't so amusing to watch them die.

I actually received them through trade by my friend Seth. I assume he painted them. I know I am not in that league of painting yet. I have lots of practice ahead to be on par with that.

Oh no assuming, I did in-fact paint them. Just making sure to see credit where credit is due.

Moreover, if you want to paint better just bring some of your paints and models over some time and I can teach you some techniques.
