I'm trying to make Daemonhost without using current model. Because it looks so ugly.

So,I'm looking for model for Daemonhost from GW range as conversion base.

Is there any good idea?

I saw one article in WD when one used an Ungor as base for a daemonhost. It looked descent. I think it was in Nr 315

A little large perhaps, but the Deceiver from the Necron range could be a good base model.

For a model with a more dynamic pose you could start with a wood or regular elf mage.

I think the Forge World Renegade Psykers look like good Daemonhosts.

I've always thought using a possesed space marine would be cool. Perhaps fluff-wise, your inquisitor captured a CSM leader and returned him to loyal service wiether he likes it or not?

I used the daemonhost model for my conversions of a daemonhost, for the same reason...

I couldn't get all the chains, etc. that I had seen people do on c'mon, and this was easier.

Bits from the zombie sprue as well as flagellents might make a nice start for a daemonhost.
