I have a lot of free time on hands so I thougth I should make some Tyranid terrain.
First up, the devourer tentacles:

The idea is that these tetancles drag victims into the digestion pools.
I started by clipping the rods to the right size, then I pinned the rods inside the devourers and plased them on the base.
Later today I started adding the clay to the first two tentacles.

Nice idea! See last months WD for a similar bit of scenery you might find useful.

Good idea. Presumably this will count as 'dangerous terrain"!

I'm not so sure on the height of the tentacles though, I'd personally have them snaking more along the ground - possibly into a reedy margin around the pool ready to catch the unwary.....

I continued to build the tentacles, I eve nmanaged to finish two of them.
Meanwhile I have been making a capillary tower and a biomass pipe.
