Here's my idea for an Ork Warlord, based off the FW Runt Bot Model.

Disclaimer: I don't play Orks, but I still know enough about them to provide enough rules.

Warlord Crunk the Mechanical

Points: 250
Type: Monstrous Creature
WS6 BS2 S5 T5 W4 I1 A4 Ld8 Sv2+/4++

Wargear:
Gork's Claws
Mega Armour
Twin-Linked Big Shoota

Special Rules
Feel No Pain

Unreliable: For every wound Crunk takes, roll a D6. On a 1,2 or 3, he loses 1 inch of movement.

Gork's Claws: Crunk carries a pair or colossal piston-driven claws, each larger than even a Space Marine. They count as a pair of Power Claws with built in Sluggas, which roll 2D6 for penetration.

Bulky: Crunk takes up 3 spaces in a Transport vehicle. He may not be transported in a Trukk.

Rampage: Every-time Crunk rolls a 5 or a 6 to hit in Close-Combat, he may make an additional attack. As long as you keep rolling 5 or 6s there is no limit to these attacks.

Any thoughts? As mentioned before, I don't play Orks, I just wanted to make some rules for the FW Model, which I think is excellent.

Thanks,

Valk

So, he's stat-wise the same as Ghazghkull Thraka, but with 1 point lower Ld. He trades the adamantium skull (+1 extra A when assaulting) for a TL rather than single big shoota, and add the Feels No Pain special rule in exchange for a movement penalty. He does not have the special WAAAGH! ability, and he costs 70 more points.

I'd rather have Ghazghkull, myself.

If you really want to emphasize his mekiness, consider having him be a walker, perhaps give him 2d6 armor pen against vehicles or some other melee-combat related ability. Ol' One Eye's extra attacks ability might be fun. As written, though, it's gonna be very, VERY difficult to get him into close combat. Maybe you could exchange the FNP rule for a better invulnerable save, representing just how much more of him is mechanical than the average ork. Also lower his points cost. Great stats are one thing, but consider a fight between him and an Avatar of Khaine or a Demon Prince and you'll find his cost is just too high. Speaking of which, maybe you could count him as a monstrous creature. If simply left by humans to fight amongst themselves, warbosses can grow to truly horrific size, and that would be a fun way to cast him. Just some thoughts.

Also, posting a photo of the model would be nice.

There's just an acre of you fellas, isn't there?

Maybe a special rule to help an army's overall effectiveness would be in line, for the points cost you've suggested.

Something along the lines of "All friendly units within 12" benefit from the (insert randomly generated Universal Special Rule here) Rule."

I like the new rules!
Rampage especially is great.

It's being run by people with short term vision and enough greed to extinguish a sun.

Perhaps they're the C'tan.

i feel the special rules are quiet strange to say the least
as an ork player i would not field this charechter due to its ridiculous points value for the rules he has and alseo his monsturous creature rule is abit OTT.
i feel you need to rethink the rules and also read the codex and fluff befor you try to make up rules. also same applies for the mega wagon.

I feel that you should expand your views, instead of trying to contradict everything I've put on here.

I have the model and yeah he is a monster but MC is a bit OTT for an ork.

Looking at the model i'd say stats of a Warboss, BS 3, -1 WS, -1 Ld because controlled by a grot, Mega Armour

As you have it, bacause he is grot control does not have Mob Rule or Waaaagh rule

The Mega Armour makes his movement slower anyway so would cover his unpredictable cybork enhancements.

Cybork Ork special rule
4+ invulnerable (improved of 5+ for cybork body).
Gives him move through cover special rule (always in use because of mega armour).
Gives him eternal warrior.

Replaces twin linked shoota on mega armour with second power klaw (this would give him initiative 1 anyway)

Rampage rule as you have it.

Reboot
If Runtbot dies lie him down, after this if a mek with mekboy tools is in base contact with him in the shooting phase he may attempt to do impromptu repairs on Runtbot instead of shooting and assaulting that turn. On a roll of 4+ Runtbot gets back up with 1 wound.

Because Da Grots is in charge
As an army wide rule. All grot mobs within 12" can re-roll failed moral and pinning tests.

I'd say ~200 pts.

Great as a grot army leader

A post Brexit Wasteland

I like those rules. I would give him a mob rule that is only in effect if he is joined to other grots and a waaaaaggghhhh that only works on grots aso.

Was also thinking a shooting attack to take advantage of the improved BS, say:

Morks Eye
Range: 12" Str: 4 AP: 3 Assault 1

I like the mob rule for grots for him only.
