As for the apple barrel paint, i do use it on some stuff, Bases, Drybrushing tanks, that kind of thing. Considering those things dont really need super quality paint.

Yeah, the first time I was doing a base with citadel paint I got 3 strokes in, realized how much it would take and was like... wait, no. I got some $1.79 no-name paint from the craft store, and have been using it since. Even if you use the finest of paints on your minis, you should definitely have at least a tube of black and white of the cheap stuff.
