What it comes down to is that it turns out that I was incorrect in thinking that it was a seam line when it was simply a poor design choice that made the model look like a cheap plastic toy.

And now it is now an actual seam line, so while I was incorrect initially on that aspect, the Chinese factory have flipped it - so it is indeed now a seam line based on a poor design choice and it will indeed look like a cheap plastic toy.

But you're welcome to think that these flyers are the best thing ever and buy a fleet of them. No skin off my nose, so go for it.

I love the new strider weapon. I wonder if there will be a new pvc kit with the new weapon and close combat weapons we have seen.

I've seen someone convert the battlezones stationary burst laser to fit a strider, I may try to follow suit as I do not need three more

The rifles might need a little snip to the tip for modesty, but the rest of this minis look great to me. The sprues come with enough enclosed helmets for everyone, right?

I guess it depends on if you think their guns shoot solid slugs, in which case a muzzle brake is pretty helpful

The GCPS still look like that cheap plastic, but man, do those look detailed.

Guns are a bit large but workable. May invest in these at retail. Maybe a set for zombie marines 2.0 since the gcps zombie parts that come with the plague zombies are huge. Darth Helmet style hats..

I like them, semi large guns and all.

Looks like a good set of generic near future human infantry. Glad I got a few to fiddle with.

Will any of you volunteer to paint my Blaines? Otherwise, Blaintober's going to lead to a bleak, grey Novemblaine for me.

If at least 4 of you manage to do it (All Blaines painted by Halloween) , I'll promise to write an all-Blaine faction list for Deadzone and try my best to get Mantic to publish it. :p

We've chatted about the idea previously in the RC and it could be fun. All Blaine models, including both dreadball Blaines and the dino rider!

Hmm I'm not sure I meet the minimum specs. I just have dz1 Blaine, mars attacks Blaine, DBX Blaine, oh uhh...dz:I Blaine...nevermind I'm only really missing original dreadblaine and anything since DZI.

Blainetober? Someone is gonna have to bring it back up but I'll dig my Blaines out.

I never got my dinosaur blaine, but I have DZ1 Blaine painted, and have MA Blaine, DBX Blaine, and DZ2 Blaine unpainted in the Closet of Shame. I'd be glad to get them out for Blainetober.

Any word on whether or not they're working on major Chard yet?

That's them all! For the purposes of this challenge, I'll say 6 out of 7 is acceptable.
