Subject: Wet palettes does anyone use one or have any experience?

I've looked at Wet Palette tutorials on You Tube, i'm interested if anyone has had any experience or has any advice. More specifically if you've made you own Wet Palette what materials have you used? I am keen on production line painting but my Tile palette dries up and wastes paint.
Look forward to your advice

I use a wet palette made from a takeaway tub (with lid), a piece of sponge and baking parchment. Put the lid on and it'll keep paint fresh for a few days.

Always use one. Soaked kitchen roll, baking paper on top. You will save a huge amount of paint.

Takeaway Tub? Kitchen Roll!? I'm lost in a world of englishmen!!
Horrible joke aside they are right, all you need is a sealable container, sponge, and no wax baking parchment (Some hobby stores do sell actual palette paper which is what I use). The only thing about a wet palette is getting used to how much paint to put, as you don't need near the amount as you do with a traditional palette.

Try it. The purpose of the parchement is to allow water to wick up from the sponge (or whatever) to the paint, but keep the pigment from seeping down. When you lay it on your wick (sponge) it should flatten down and feel moist.

Kitchen sponge-towel-thingie for the bottom / moisture-keeping stuff, non waxed baking paper on top. Keeps the paints fresh reaaaaaaally long if you have it in a proper container. I use some sort of tupperware-thingie I stole from my parents last time I was over there.
The only downside I've noticed so far (been using mine for a year or so) is that paints sometimes flows into each other when left for a longer time. Especially when thinned with flow-aid.

I use a square blister pack (eg from Rackham minis), a blister sponge then the baking parchment on top.
BTW I'm not 100% English either - my blood is Polish, English, Welsh, Irish & Norwegean!

One more for the bandwagon. Plus, it makes all those Vallejo dropper bottles even better.

Well, back at home, I use wet paper towel with baking paper on top, but here I just use looseleaf instead of baking paper. It's not nearly as good as baking paper, but better than nothing.

Here's mine.
Easily bought from the supermarket for under £3.
Try to get a tupperware with a seal around it as your paint will last for ages.
This thing changed the way I paint when I fancy painting well.
For rank and file troops i'm lazy and paint out of the pots!
Although I do batch mix custom colours.
