Blood Angels have a very bright, vibrant red, and it's all-around. I'm talking about Blood Red bright. That means some orange-ish highlights.

Are you new to the hobby? What supplies do you currently have?

Well in that case you could probably just make up a successor chapter to the BA, because that is not their colors. I like the scheme, though.

If I could sum up the one you have posted up here, it would be with the word "unfinished." There are still details (i.e. eyes, metallic parts like vents, chest eagle, his right shoulder pad's details) that require attention. Also since white is already the brightest color you can get, I would try shading the recesses in the helmet and shoulder pads.

Great idea otherwise, though. I'd love to see a finished army. Keep it up!

Please remove mold lines from your models before you paint them. Nothing like an odd seam on the model to ruin an otherwise good paintjob.

I know you're going for a "striking white" to the white shoulders and helmet, but they just look unfinished. Paint the eye lenses and mouth grille, and paint the details on the shoulders. This will go a really long way towards making the model look complete, as right now it just looks like you didn't paint the white parts.

That red is a nice shade. It looks a little thick in places though. Try thinning your paints a little - this can be as simple as using a wetter brush, or adding a drop of water to the paint pot and shaking it up.

ok i addedd a really watered down waash to his shoulders and helmets to add shading im afraid of painting his eyes because i put too many layers of white in and its very hard to see part of his eye

From what it looks like, your paint is much to thick on the mini. It looks a bit glopped on from the pic. Water down the paints you use in a mixing bowl or something along those lines. Im telling you, thats one of the best tips to learn early on, it helps out the looks of your minis by leaps and bounds.
Other then that, so far so good, post some more progress pics.
