Taken me a little while to do, but here are a few photos of my latest project. Sorry if it takes a bit of time to load the page.

I used the Foundry Paint System, and Dull Cote for the Varnish.

The only thing I may / may not do is weather the guns and the exhausts with Black soot once they get delivered!

Superb! It's nice how you've turned away from just using metallics for the whole body, the grey/blue really makes it stand out, especially with the yellow armour.

Keep it up!

A nerf gun that BLOWS gak UP!

Thats pretty nice work you did there. Kind of reminds me of the old school way they would paint things. Very cool, Ive wanted one since they released them.

I want dual armed nerf guns. It was a compliment.

Inboud...

Good paint job- your choice of colours works well.

However I really dislike that base. It looks incredibly rushed and detracts from the overall model. Replace it, and it would look even better IMO.

Awesome kit! Nice job on the paint too, only thing i found myself missing was a grot rigger or two hanging on for dear life, i think having a couple dangling precariously would give it a better sense of motion. Excellent work though.

Thank you for the comments.

On the base issue, basing has never really been a strong point of mine :( - It is something I need to work on! . Also, on the pastel colour scheme, I actually prefer it,- I dont like really bright, shiny colours. I find that I get more depth to a "painted panel" for example, using the paints I have (Foundry paints are a 3 stage colour scheme, plus I normally use a wash after the first colour). But at the end of the day, it is really down to personnal preference and painting styles.

Thanks

Out of interest, I know there are various figure painting guides etc, but has anyone got a link to sculpting / making figure bases? - More for general ideas really.

Really good. I like the coloured panels with the metallic battle damage. Nice.

Thanks Elector! - but the red on the feet / front section is painted panels - with a few silver chips. The intent was to have it as a partial Red Paint Job! - where better to have orky go faster paint than on your feet I say! I was also goin to put a Nike tick on the paint work, put never got around to it - well, that may also of increased the running speed (correct foot ware for the job etc ).

But tanks all for your comments.
