So lets say a rune Priest targets a enemy unit opposite him, but in-between him is a combat. Then lets say he can see the opposing unit that is not locked in combat and fires Jaws straight through the combat hitting friend and /or foe but still targeting and hitting his primary target. Is this allowed seeing as he is technically not shooting into the combat but shooting through the combat but hitting the combatants as a result of firing thorught the combat?

Yes. I lost a tyrant guard due to this. Except it was hit after the first target, but same difference. Its like the doom. Models can be affected even if they are locked in combat.

All can you point Jaws in any direction you want and seeing as thier is no specified range can you place it any were in any direction aslong as it orginates from the Runepriest base?

Yes, it has a range of 24" and wrecks anything in its path. Its usually aligned for maximum destruction.
