Hey all,

As some of you may be aware my main army comprises of Traitor Guard. Since I use the Vraks, which allow for squads of Chaos Marines (namely Alphas) I decided to make some. That some has turned into a few. That few has turned into many. Oh dear, I'm out of money again!

In the tradition that I follow, nothing I make is standard and each mini is to be a conversion of some sort. I find Space Marines out of the box to be lacking, they're just too damned small and have little presence. So, I'm making my Alphas true-scale (in my own way). I'm trying to make it as easy as possible so forgive me for not making them the most impressive Marines you've seen. But, I bring news that my bowels still have not gotten used to; I am making true-scale Terminators and a Dreadnought. In fact, I've already started the Dread...

I digress as many are here just to look at purdy pictures. Keep in mind that these are all WiP and have not even got the most basic of paintcoats on yet as I only started painting them yesterday.










I've had this Land Speeder since the day they released the kit. Had to strip the old paint job and remodel it slightly.

Your models, well, theyre outstanding. Are they all going to be on a large base like that?

I'm in the middle of a conflict...I'm seriously thinking of making these guys Night Lords. As much as I like Alpha Legion I just found painting the Night Lord so much fun.

Oh yea, for sure. I love Night Lords after reading Lords of the Night and Soul Hunter.

I just can't look at "out of the box" marines now, they're legs are so tiny! But this is much more expensive but I guess you want to be proud of your work. If you do have a crack at truescale, give me a shout so I can take a gander!

I'm gonna stick them on 40mm bases. The 60mm base you see was the only one I had to hand.

I have decided to make the move to Night Lords. Waiting on some Chapterhouse heads to arrive from the States to make any more Marines but I have almost finished this fella:

I've always loved the idea behind the 'terror markings' of the Night Lords.

I've been asked that a lot via PM so I am gonna build another one this afternoon with step-by-steps. They are easy to make and that's how I wanted them.

The only real thing I did was cut off the round nub above the waist on the termie legs and file it down:



And glued on a torso:



And assembled the rest. Ta da, couldn't be easier:

Huzzah infiltrator returns, with chaos!, after reading lord of night i was tempted into doing night lords, but dark disciple sold me to the word bearers, any way after watching your traitor guard blog i hope this one goes as successful *but with less tanks XD*
