Very nice bolter and powersword. The model looks very clean and well done, almost a little bit to much by the book for my taste in SW
I like the face, and that is very much an important focal point for most SW (I can never get that particular face to look anything but bored, but you got him grim and wolfy)

Is the rest of your army painted this nicely? Its pretty impressive really. Nice and clean. Why not host your pics here on dakka. Then you can see what the world thinks through the rating system. Sure some people are jerk holes that cant be pleased no matter how awesome, but its something to think about anyways

I think that's epic. The best part of the model is defiantley the face. The eye with that large white area gives him a slight crazy and feral look. I don't knbow if it's intentional or not, but it definatley makes the model realistic. Only critism is that the power armour and sword hilt look very glossy but that's just a minor issue.
In short:

Good:
Power sword blade
Face
Thined down paints
no mold lines
even coverage

Small issues:
Slight glossiness on sword hilt and power armour.

I love the effects on the power sword, good show on the frost blade.

Very nice i like the wolf on the back pack

Thanks for the comments so far. I am the worlds slowest painter so i have only got a few other of my space wolves painted. I am working on spraying the armour colour on to save time with the squad.

I did the eye twice, the first time he was looking down and in the wrong direction which looked wierd so i did it again.

The bit i like the most is the chapter symbol on the right shoulder which i hand painted.

He is basically my experiment using the GW Eavy Metal articles from White Dwarf.

It looks great and allcept the face makes him look a bit like he thinking omg that is weird

His right eye is MASSIVE AND STARING! You could put another line of flesh above and below it to make it a bit more normal.

Otherwise very nicely painted, love the sword

Nice job. Like others have said, the weapons are painted quite nicely. I definitely dig the sword. Personally, my biggest issue is with the wolf icon - the highlighting is really stark. If you wanted that effect, then more power to you, just not my style (although I can see why you might not want it to be just another field of the same light grey).

That is the correct way to put the icon of Sven Bloodhowls great company, its supposed to represent some kind of fenrisian volcano spewing fire, right? By the way, very nice choise of great company, and very nicely made icon. I first took it as a transfer.

Edit. No wait I misunderstood, we are talking about left and right here. Great company markings on the models left, if you bother with fluff.

I was only going to have the marking on the opposite side for warriors with special weapon's. I think i will be able to get away with it, but time will tell.

Not bad, not bad at all, very nice. i just dont really like his eye, its a little too big.
