-Well I have Only Played Warhammer for 1 1/2 years, i "had" a badly painted Marine army and a chaos army, One Day I decided to repaint my Msrine army and I saw on the Internet (while looking for inspiration) the blood angels chapter, so I started painting, and when i was about 2 squads and a 2 hq's in, like magic, the codex came out (note: I was so eager i got the first copy in the shot, before they even went on the shelves) I'm currently working on a Furiso dreadnought librerian, and since it is going to be one of the biggest, baddest models in my army I wanted to really give it a paintjob to show,

-Please i'f I can I'mprove this in anyway tell me, also The base isn't done yet, i need to tidy it up and make the rock, look well... Rocky
and there are a few bits on the model i need to sort out, but any Idea's for the force wepon and welcome and well, really any idea's on how i can improve the amour is also welcome, here is Brother librerian Leo (Yes I Know not an original name, It was the only Thing I could think of that was cool and that I could fit on the Scroll thingy)

-I got/rescued Leo From my friend, before he was to go on Ebay, so there are stiff a couple of faults that I can't do anything about, but I've tried my best to hide them

I like the fig, the blood looks really nice and the weathering is great. But personally I don't think its looks liberian enough, but thats just me. Nice work.

Force weapon is a definetly unique item, though I've never been a fan of the Ironclad dreadnough CCW.

You wanted some tips on how I did the blood effect, well I just undercoated black, then a layer of mecrite red, blood red, then wash the whole model badab black, wash it really thick in places, to give it a burnt old kind of look, and then just spread around the thick bits of the wash around, the most important part of this is to wash the whole model, even the black bits, then lightly drybrush the area's where the paint would scratch off boltgun metal, with the screws and bolts, I used mithril silver (to paint a bit over the top of the round bit) I would usually highlight it blood red or red gore, but to keep with the really old effect I chose not to


in simple terms:


*chaos black,
*mechrite red-red amour only
*blood red-the red amour only
*wash badab black-whole model
*drybrush boltgun metal- area's where amour will have scraped paint off

simple really, sorry I'f I haven't really explained it well, I try to but I'm not that good at explaining things ah ha ha

Looking nice for first time GS, but indeed, maybe a splash of blue or electricity on the model would help to make it 'pop' a bit more. Other than that, well done sir!

Question? Chaos Sorceror Spell Book on the front of a loyalist Librarian Dreadnaught? Other than that I like the work you have done. It looks very gritty and like it has torn threw a 1000 enemy in the most nasty of ways.

Nice effects, it looks used and old and beautiful.
