Hi all, thought I'd have a go at hosting one myself. Although this one might not start until Gornal's one has finished. Basic game as always, though with a few more roles and such to bring into play Daemons and possession.
Looking for a decent number to start as well, probably 12.
There will be three teams, two of which are anti-town.
Good side will include stuff like:
* Ordo Malleus Inquisitor
-Able to investigate anyone during the night phase, will be told if there is a Daemon
-Auto Immunity to a night kill from a Daemon
-Has the ability to move the above mentioned shield to block someone else instead of them during a single night phase
-Can banish a Daemon, not during the same phase as the investigation
Banishment basically works like this, Daemons can possess players and remain in play after they're lynched. Banishment works like a night kill, but will only effect a player currently possessed by a Daemon, and when it hits them the Daemon is gone out of the game. Possession will be explained a bit later with the Daemon role.
* Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor
-Normal inquisitor but with one genereal difference
-Immune to night kills by Chaos Cultists, they may move this shield like the Ordo Malleus Inquisitor, to protect someone else.
* Psyker
-Can be possessed by a Daemon
* Citizen
Plain old normal guys with no abilities
Chaos side has this
* Chaos Cultist
-Normal Chaos guy, they can all decide on who to night kill like the Genesteallers, Dark Kin, and such from other games
-Able to be possessed by a Daemon
*Rouge Psyker
-Joins in with the Cultists in their night kills
-Able to investigate roles
-Able to be possessed by up to two Daemons
Daemon side has
*Daemon
-Able to possess others
-Able to perform one night kill (worked out as a team decision)
-Able to communicate freely throughout the game.
Possession works like this, after a Daemon player dies they have the option to try to latch onto someone's mind before they fall back into the warp. A Daemon can attempt to possess someone once they are dead, they can only possess one person. They also have to PM me who they wish to possess, I will then PM the person they possess if it goes through. Once a possession is successful, the two may communicate freely via PM throughout the game.
The Daemon players will know who the cultists are, but not the other way around. If the Daemon tries to possess a person who is unable to be possessed, then it fails and they leave the game as normal. If the player they possess is on the innocent side, they join the chaos side until the Daemon is removed. If the person the Daemon is possessing is killed the Daemon leaves the game, as they may only attempt to possess someone once.
A Daemon possessing someone can do nothing but communicate with the person they're possessing and other Daemons. Thus if you wanted to be really cleaver a Daemon could talk to a Daemon who is possessing someone and then it gets passed onto the person they're possessing.
While Daaemons and Chaos are kind of the same thing they are not on the same team. Daemons can choose to work with the cutists if they wish in order to win but they don't need them to win

Also if I've missed any of you during sign up just send me a quick PM or whatever and I'll fix it up

Good to see the usual as well as somee new people.
Like every other game I'm going to use the rules similar to Thor's usual one, but with the slight additions/changes I mentioned. I will of course post the rules in the first post for it once it gets going as usual. But, without the typo Drk_0 had

I'm not really sure about this. There are so many characters with seemingly powerful abilities. (And far too many that are immune to night kills)

There will only be one of each of the Inquisitor roles, the imperium will be a majority of citizens as usual with maybe one or two of the weaker untrained psykers thrown in. I'll probably get rid of the trained Psyker role now that I think of it. Just to make it clear the Daemon team only gets one night kill, not made individually, then it never hurts the Malleus Inquisitor, while the cultists can't hurt the Hereticus Inquisitor. Also the shield may block someone else, but if it is it's not protecting the one who makes it. Also they could use the Daemon communication thing to help pick out targets. Mostly it was added in to help counteract the Daemon's possession ability, something I wanted to try out. Any suggestions to help improve it would be very appriciated though. The main goal of this is to make it fun, but try something different. I was thinking of 2 Daemons, 3 chaos guys including the rouge psyker, Malleus Inquisitor, Hereticus Inquisitor, 4 citizens and an untrained psyker.

They're part of the team but at the same time aren't. They're on the chaos side, but the cultists don't know who they are but they know who the cultists are. So I guess you could say that they are on the same team, but split into two groups.

They also win if there are no loyalists left, but at the same ime could win by eliminating everyone else if they wanted.
Kind of wanted them to feel more like Daemons there to simply pass time; more than just equals to the mortals, helping them as servents.

Just some general tips I'd give to townies..
-Always, always use logic.
-Don't bandwagon, don't vote for no reason, don't vote for people off a "feeling" or without evidence.
-Always make sure you have an explanation to back up your actions.
-Never, never, ever SELF VOTE!!!111one!!!!111eleven!!!1!!!
-Town>Yourself.
-If you use logic, talk alot and vote right then there's always a possiblity you'll be knocked off quickly.
-Try and be constructive and leave alot of the Roleplay stuff in the RVS.

About the 4th point....

This! It is never a good thing to self vote as town.... EVER!
I would argue that with this many roles you need a larger game than 12 people. Also, make sure you clearly define victory conditions for each team and make sure they are mutually exclusive. How many night kills are possible each day?

not_u, who decides the night kills on the Deamon/Cultist team? And how do they win? Do the Deamons kill/possess the the cultists at the end, or what?

They figure it out like the usual anti-towns do, but in this way act as two sperate teams. Just think of it as two teams of steallers. So they discuss it through PM then one of them PMs that to me, I guess they just decide on who forwards it themselves because I don't remember there ever really being anyone assigned to.
The Cultists win if there are no loyalists left. Doesn't matter if the Daemons are gone or not. So if the Daemons all die, then the loyalists Chaos wins.
If the Cultists all die and the loyalists also die, but the Daemons are still alive Chaos wins.
Loyalists win if all Chaos forces are gone.
Just think of it as two teams; Loyalists and Chaos. But Chaos just operates as two smaller teams. One with more information than the other. Of course because of this, there are no renegade roles that get to pick out their own targets like assassins.
Chaos is able to throw out two Night Kills per phase, and Loyalists are able to block two. But, here's the fun part, if the Cultists hit who the Malleus guy is protecting it goes through and vice versa for the Hereticus guy. I've removed the trained Psyker as you were right and they had too much sheilding.
Another fun part is that if they wanted to the Daemons are free to betray the Cultists and it will still allow them to win, and if they let the Cultists win, they still win

I'm not too sure about the whole "2 nightkills" thing. Especially since there are only 12 players. Our previous game would have been incredibly short if LL hadn't been lynched on the second day.
If there was a single "Renegade" deamon, with out co-op between the cultists it could work. But I'm a bit shifty around all this complex shielding. and roles Of course, it all depends on how many deamons and cultists that there will be.

Out of twelve people? Yeah. They only need to kill 3 innocents before they have the majority, and with 2 night kills, it's not impossible or even unlikely to have the game in by the second day. Lynch an innocent on Day 1, easy enough with 5 votes, kill two innocents in the night. (if they get lucky with missing the shielding) and then you're left with only 9 players the next day. 5 of which are anti-town. Anti-town wins.

The cultists won't know who the Daemons are though.
Maybe change the numbers around a bit.
@Inquisitor_Syphonious: They're the same rules as per the normal games, but I'm currently thinking through a few changes so they won't be definite until the start of it. You're on the list though.

Yep, although it was because their ability would suck if they didn't at least know some targets.
Might be better if I just take their night kill away though. Maybe give them the ability to investigate and remove the Rouge Psyker role.
