Hey,
Just bought some warriors of chaos. Absolutely love the Khorne Lord on Juggernaught model ( http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat50025&prodId=prod1290097).

Drop the scaly Skin off the hounds, most missile fire directed at it will be S4, and that scaly skin is then wasted.
List the actual items on the Lord, not what his item does.

Haha, no worries. Feel better dude!
So overall you think it's a good list? I might still build the beastmen too, I just assumed that chaos was a better thing to start now with 8th coming out soon (and has less of a chance to suck as much if not more than beastmen might end up sucking) and drastic changes might be made.
After 8th comes out, I'm going to modify the beastmen list I have now and end up just fielding lots of chaos!!!

Personally I wouldn't field two units of 20 warriors. They're tough and should be able to generate a decent amount of CR if you go with 12 per unit. This would also allow you to take a third unit of warriors.
Next, I would drop the champions out of the warriors and mauraders for sure. You're paying 8-12 points for a champion that can only gets one more attack. The points could be better spent on something else.
The unit of knights should be dropped to about 6. 8 is a bit too wide imo. Also throw in the unit champion because this allows him to declare a challenge and your lord to throw out a world of hurt on the unit you charge. Also you can only ever get +5 CR for overkill which limits the lords potential.
One thing you should think about is getting a scroll caddie in there somehow. 2 dd will hardly do a single thing. You don't want your units to get mauled in the magic phase until you can get a charge off.

BLARGH, I LIEK KHORNE BECUZ IT HAS MOAR ATTAKSS.
Very rarely is Scaly Skin going to be worth it as an upgrade on your hounds.
One thing that Khorne Players miss time, and time again, is that if they intend to play Khorne, they need 2 things, Some sort of mechanic to mitigate their frenzy liability, and a way to cover so much real-state that their opponents can't run.
This means more, smaller units that rely on Static Res instead of active res. It also means cutting down unit sizes and spreading them out. It ALSO means fewer badass kill everythign in their way type characters, and more "boost my combat prowess a little bit type characters.
Go to units of 11 with a champion 6x5, consider 2x hand weapons. Exaulted Champions to shore up weakness against units they are inferior to and helpmitigate frenzy non-charges (the hero charges out of the unit sometimes when the unit can't charge, hero gets run off, unit pursues into your frenzied unit.)
Undevided chariots add both hitty power and the ability to flee and rally and get right back into the fight quickly.
The faster the unit is, the more of a liability frenzy happens to be.

Pure Khorne with just 1 character, and he's a jugger lord? And you've got warriors? And a shaggy? AND only 2DD? A++ dude
Here's my take, with some thoughts:
L: Chaos Lord - MoK, axe of khorne, crimson armor, favor, shield, jugger = 375
C: 15 Warriors - MoK, full command, shield = 300
C: 15 Warriors - MoK, full command, shield = 300
C: 15 Warriors - MoK, full command, shield = 300
C: 12 Marauders - MoK, musician, great weapons = 94
C: 6 Warhounds = 36
C: 5 Warhounds = 30
S: 6 Knights - MoK, musician = 280
R: Shaggoth - great weapon = 285

Jugger Lord > This is my preferred build, with the axe for devastation purposes and the crimson armor to force your opponent to WORK to kill the dude. Anti- KB, anti-multiwound is just too legit on a T5 dude with a 0+ (and I also don't trust morrslieb, as most things that can kill him are going to be dishing out magic attaks).
Warriors > 2x 20 is overkill with khorne warriors, when 15 give you a whole hell of attaks and enough SCR to back them up. I pushed and got 3x 15 into the list, which should serve you well. I've fought khorne mortals with 3x 15 as the army backbone and it's nuts, those blocks just keep coming until you've run out of time and faces are torn off left and right.
Marauders > Really unsure what your marauders were doing before, so I went with a nice and brutal flanking / mini-assault unit. Rumors suggest that in 8th great weapons attak in two ranks, which makes this little package even nastier!
Hounds > Keep them cheap. I only took an 11th puppy because I had 6 points left, 2x 5 is nice.
Knights > 8 was far too big, and khorne knights need little beyond a musician. With the lord in here they are especially well taken care of (though with the crimson armor he can hypothetically run solo should he need to).
Shaggy > Are you using the GW model? Cause that guy has a gw, so may as well pay for the thing. Ahw is preferable IMO but the model is really rough to convert
Hope that helps, pure khorne is a crazy ride of carnage. I suppose heavy magic armies will give you pause for concern, but I think you won't be too bothered, particularly when 8th smashes all fools relying on magic about the genital region. (Sadly this includes me  )

@infreak - I definitely like your suggestion. I am thinking about throwing a tzeentch scroll caddy on a disk and zooming around the board, or just on foot and putting him in with the unit of marauders (I don't think a tzeentch sorcerer can join a unit of khorne warriors?).
@ragnar - you speak the truth, brother. I have deleted scaly skin. I need to playtest the current list and will definitely add the champions in eventually as the army grows and evolves (I love the khorne chaos champion models, and your suggestions are great regarding anti-frenzy control).
I'm thinking eventually building a massive chaos force with 2-3 warrior blocks from Khorne and nurgle, then using Slaanesh and tzeentch for deamonettes, and magic support. Bwahahahaha.

To be honest most of the time its not worth using a chaos lord over a couple of exalted champions, put banner of rage on one of the warrior units instead of MoK, Warbanner on another. * chaos knights is a waste, you only need 5/6, i also wouldnt bother with lance, having strength 5 magical attacks is far better.
I would make the chaos warriots 18 strong and then deploy 6x3, you also need 3 units of chaos hounds to screen your frenzied units.

hey thanks for the comments. why do you propose 6x3? with only two ranks isn't that a lot of real estate to be opening up to combat with multiple units? I want to get the warriors into frontal combat and flank with knights/marauders no?

He's suggesting 6x3 because Warriors are on 25mm bases while most of RnF are on 20mm. This pretty much allows you to have one more model attacking in combat then your opponent. Also, Warriors rely more on active combat res to win rather then static.
Personally I like to run 6x2 on the warriors with only musician and standard. If a hero or lord is in the unit then I take the unit champ.
