Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks! I drove 9 hours out to Atlanta this past weekend to play in their circuit event. I didn't get pictures of all the armies by any stretch because not everyone had their armies out neatly before the event started, but I snapped what I could. The Purple dark eldar are mine. I have battle reports from this (first one done) and from other tournaments over in the battle report section that are all picture intensive if anyone cares.

Of special note is the Blood Angel army; painting is ridiculous!

Heavily converted chaos marines. Those are obliterators out front!

Yes, that is a brightly colored wraithlord chopping up an imperial guardsman.

From the same army:

Unfortunately, I caught this picture as he was assembling his army. Hydras aren't finished.

Some people still like tyranids!

I don't play marines, and I can't remember his name. But he has big fists!

This is the army he's leading!

Spehss mahrinez!

I love orks!

Special attention to his awesome big mek!!!!!!!

Boyz are still in trays:

These are not my Dark Eldar.

My Dark Eldar are *decidely* more rude.

Yep. They all think that way.

Except her. That one is a BIG finger. And she does more than flip it at you.

Nob Bikers:

Foot slogging Eldar:

Counts as BA:

Homemade Storm Raven!

Dual seer council. With a prism. ><

Mother mary of sweet Jesus.

Something you definitely don't want to see across the table from you.

sniff... you skipped my greater good! i even had them all dolled up and posed for the painting judging! :( and, yes, the armies present were almost universally quite nice. i only saw a single force that had visible MINORITY of unpainted figs and only one where i'd rate the painting at less than 5/10 overall. kudos to the organizers for running the kind of tourney i said i'd like to attend in another thread.

edit: i'll add my own pics to your gallery here if you don't mind my piggy backing onto your thread. i went around and snapped pics when the armies were out for the painting judging (danny internets inbound now that soft scores are mentioned in 5...4...3.. )

i know all mon keigh prey look alike to the purple people eaters but technically i believe that is a dark angel space marine from the heraldry.

Like I said, these were pictures that I took before the tournament started; I think you didn't even show up until half an hour after I was done taking pictures. =p

JEZUZ those eldar nearly burnt my eyes out of my sockets! I am sorry the owner of that army does not have friends who are honest enough to tell him he has painted flourescent abominations lol.

The other armies are pretty great, and a few look truly awesome. Orks, Ulthwe, iron hands, that Mek and Sanguinor all look Ace.

Thanks for sharing

I was leaning tyranids, but after the trash-talking I got the other night from a certain melee-Necron/MC Nids player, I might just have to. =p I reeeeeeaaallly want to win three tournaments on the Atlanta circuit with three different armies.

Hey I do anyways Dash, when I played CSM, I made a couple Aspiring Champions that were flipping the bird. I think it adds character
Specially with your play style, I think its rather appropriate

Those are all real nice. I like the bright wraithlord a lot. I also like the rudeness of your DE. Just like space pirates to flip you off...

No, that's the local representative from Hasbro eating a space marine.
