It is not a lion mask.
It is a lion's head, attached to a lion pelt, like the SWs wear wolf pelts with wolf heads.

Nice rendition of the illustration. I do think the pelt would have looked better a little higher, it looks like he's carrying his fresh trophy under his arm.

Its a "primarch" model from I believe Ronin miniatures that were limited to around 300 a piece. This guy http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/knights_of_legend/ is recasting them but his stock comes and goes as he restocks. Currently he has a Horus and a Lionel Johnson. Ships from Italy. Was a pristine cast no defects on mine btw.
