... Grrr. He's so freaking amateur

Eh...

One may not like his press casting or formula...but I would hardly accuse him of being amateur.

He worships Brian Nelson, so of course he is going to call anything that doesnt have a ghetto booty an amateur attempt.

Nope, not at all.  The facial features on that model are all oversized, the fur far too coarse and lumpy, the daemon head is crude.  It's an amateur sculpt dude.  It looks nice, and I'm sure cost far less then paying Kevin White to do it, but all the stuff he does is very crude.  I tried to find his personal miniature line online (he sold a bunch of resin models what didn't include GW parts) but google couldn't help me.

Like I said before- his conversions are fine and dandy if you remember they're conversions, but his sculpts are poor.

Heh, like this sculpt:

When it comes to art/models/whatever we all have opinions....but you can't really yank on the guy and call him an amateur.  I can think of many models made by several game companies that look much worse then his line of Dwarves, scribes, etc.  Dude has talent (And expensive gear it seems as well).

I'll give you that much.  That sculpt is fantastic.  I gave him a damn good score on CMoN for it as well.  That's his first full sculpt that I actually thought was buyable.  I wish he had cast and sold that one.   And as for other stuff being worse then his, I think that stuff sucks too!

I should say, however, that my sculpting preferences are obviously not universal, and it's great if Scribor has an audience. I'm just not one of them.
