Good job!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

These are very well executed. I was a little skeptical, and rolled my eyes a bit when I saw the caution stripes on the gauss flayer blades. But then I saw that Monolith and was blown away. I think the whole thing comes together nicely.

I find Necrons boring, yet I find caution stripes awesome.

This is a conflict of interests.

Nice work.

I first read Gav Thorpe and was about to go into cardiac arrest. Nonetheless, thanks for the seal Gavin!

metallifan wrote:And that the Necrons for some reason repainted themselves to mock the Iron Warriors. Really I think it would just be better to say that they were found like that. Maybe they were construction 'Cons back in their day?

The background really isn't of much importance, but if I'd had to state something I'd say the C'tan don't need paintbrushes. The defeated Ironwarriors, writhing in pain on the ground unable to continue, were fused with these Necrons in a snap of a finger by the great stargod. Or were they? Perhaps it is just an illusion? The C'tan in question is supposedly The Deceiver, who likes to toy with people's feelings and amuse himself, hence the mocking. Imagine you're fighting a war that you are losing with no chance whatsoever. Now imagine the enemy is wearing the uniform of your country and carrying its flag with something silly drawn on it as a joke, while annihilating everything that is of importance to you. That would be mockery.

And it isnt the Necron who are mocking anything, most of them have lost all bits of personality and as such could not complete such acts. Necron Lords occasionally might have some left, or they could've gone insane. It is the C'tan Deceiver, who is behind all of it in my background story. After all, the C'tan are rumored to be moved into Apocalypse. That would be correct in my opinion, because they indeed are gods of nigh infinite power and could annihilate a whole planet alone. A small band of Ironwarriors is nothing more than an ant to be squished. In fluff that is. Ingame you can gun them down with the simplest of weapons, altough it is just the necrodermis breaking and the stargods incarnation turned into energy.

But yeah, they're just miniatures. Digg them or hate them.

Oh and thanks for the comments so far guys!

Now I'm gonna go vomit because of my hangover.

Loving the wraiths as well as the rest of your army, especially the one modelled through the wall, you should put a panicked IG behind it, possibly wetting himself.

Also, the middle wraith looks like he's breaking out some form of necron dance move.

Haha, true true. I instantly envisioned a monolith that has the particle whip crystal replaced by a huge disco ball...
