The goggles and pointed helmet that you have in the first sculpt are great, very Rogue-Trader-era 40K style. I'd say stick with your original concept. The whole tech-barbarian thing has faded out of recent 40K art, and bringing it back a bit would give your force great flavor.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
