He Nard,
I have a question.
Looking at the pictures in you're gallery I see that you gave the Gaunts Carapace only a base color?

The photos are not that good but it is a base colour with slightly lighter lines painted across it. I will take some better pics one day

Firstly, I love and hate your stuff (please realize this is in jest)
Love: you stuff makes me want to paint tyranids so bad just to try the pink out. My wife also thinks your stuff is seriously boss. In her words "aww they look like really angry bugs who have played with my little pony"

Hate: I know if I get it right.. i'll end up painting another army.

In all seriousness, I think the models I have seen from your selection are excellent. I think your painting skills are really top notch, and am thankful you took the time to put together a how to. Hats off to you

I just was looking at your Tyrannofex thread and thought to myself: 'I wonder if he's ever explained how he paints like this because I'd love to know'.

I did a quick search of your threads and lo and behold this awesome gem!

Thanks for posting, and as I had suspected, the 'secret' to your amazing look is simply lots and lots of hard work (and talent).

I think you may actually take more time painting your Tyranids than I do, but you've managed to keep at it with so much more enthusiasm than me, which makes me insanely jealous.

Anyway, you should totally put a link to both this thread AND your complete army profile into your forum signature so people can always find both those things when they're interested.

If you'd like, I can put those links into your forum sig for you (just let me know).

Anyway, great job, keep it up!

If ever a tutorial was worth a thread necromancy, it's this one. Fantastic work. These models look so nice... I shake in fear imagining them coming out to play on the table. I'd be so fearful of damaging them!

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...
