Personally, I'd rather see a standard PVS-14 than the fancy non-existent quad-tubed NODs, or maybe even the new PVS-21s or whatever they are called, which are large tan night vision/thermal(that can be displayed simultaneously, its awesome). You can google that one, they are pretty sweet. You could mount them on a standard ACH/MICH or the Ops-Core FAST helmet. I think I would enjoy the option of being able to glue them to the helmet, a few up, and a few in the down positions. Maybe include the option to put on either helmet for user customization? Might be a nice feature if it can be done at this scale. Definitely stick with the Sordin/Peltor headsets, those look extra cool. Some heads without NODs, just rocking some goggles or some friggen sweet oakley glasses would be welcomed at all. Sorry if this is hard to read and comprehend, I'm very excited about stuff like this.

The four tubed NODs are called GP/NVG-18's (Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle) made by L3 and are real. They will be separate from the helmet so you can glue them up or down. Heads without NODs are certainly possible, I'll gauge the interest for them after these release.
Thanks for the feedback!

Kick me in the pants! I had just never seen them before. More power to ya then!
(P.S. I would never want to wear those, they have got to be a strain on the neck!)

So, this is where a discussion will take place about Mad Robot possibly doing a new female regiment.
I'm anxious to see what people have in mind
Post pictures for inspiration, ideas for uniforms, weapons, etc. Also give your ideas for background and such.

Well if your looking for selling lots then tight outfits or cadians with boobs. By tight outfits what I was thinking was something like the black widow from the avengers mixed with ninja gear. The women could be from a feudal female dominated world that does a lot of espionage and infiltrating. They could be geared up with close combat weapons like katanas, tonfa, kami, sai , chain whips and kasuri-kama. You can have regular heads, hooded heads, bavaclava heads, heads with eye masks and optic enhanced heads. They could also have either pistols or the wrist weapons like black widow.

I'd be in on this, my own thoughts would be for sci-fi battle nuns to proxy as Sisters of Battle seeing as GW has neglected them for so long. Could there be a market for not-Sisters that Mad Robot could exploit?
Obviously if I was designing them I'd shy away from the established power armour SoB look, their form fitting body armour would be concealed UNDER their voluminous robes/habits/tabards but with some dynamic posing and flowing robes you'd see the hint of a power armoured knee, leg or forearm. Fleur- de-lis, crux's, gasmasks or S&M bondage gear would also be out in favour of plainly decorated robes, with buttoned splits for ease of movement. A more subtle breastplate than GW's half-melons-on-a-chest would also be more preferable.
Fluff-wise in the Mad Robot Universe they are the fanatical foot soldiers of a powerful paramilitary sect, on a self appointed mission to rid Human Space of any opposition to their beloved patron overlord. They operate in small but well trained and indoctrinated private armies, equipped with the best weaponry and armour their shadowy organisation can develop and possess a frighteningly disturbing zeal that has garnered them a fearsome reputation on many human worlds.

With the ninja chicks they could proxy as wyches , or harlequins, or howling banshees if given some sort of noise dampening/amplifying device which allows them to move quietly but then can be reversed a the last moment to stun opponents.
I was further thinking about possibly having samurai-ko (female samurai), who would be the more important "face" of a corporation military wing. While he ninja chicks do the dirty work, the samurai-ko would be involved in the "open" war. There would also be room for diplomatic personnel, the ones with briefcases, suits and cellphones o call in the air strikes.

OK Dakka...looking for input.
Give your top 5 heavy weapons, in order of importance. Not based on looks, but what you actually use.
Not looking for an explanation why one is better than another, just a simple list
I'll be sharing progress on this thread as the Heavy Weapons teams come together.
Thanks in advance!

As far as heavy weapons goes:
I would like to see a tripod based off of the german tripod from WW2, I think that would be pretty righteous.
My weapons preferences in order:
1. Heavy Machinegun, maybe something that replicates an M240, MG42/MG3. Also cool and more appropriate would be maybe a DSKH or M2 .50 Cal.
2. Missile Launcher, based off of a Javelin or TOW
3. Autocannon/Chaingun, something similar to a 40mm BOFORs or old 2cm anti-aircraft gun
4. Mortar, they all look similar.
5. Laser Cannon of some type, no ideas since there is nothing to base off of.

Calling it Heavy Bolter may have troubles, maybe auto fire grenade launcher? GW once said the HB was a 37mm weapon, and some grenades fit that, o make it like modern 40mm Grenade MG

I never put it past GW to try and make a case of things. But all else aside, I do like the chunky look of that weapon! It says "Pain on the way in multi-round bursts!"

It doesn't really matter what it's called, I am partial to the name Heavy Slugger myself.

That's a reasonable point on the handle, I'll give it a think. There will be an ammo magazine on the other side; still a work in progress
