I keep going back and forth on which factions to pick, it seems inevitable that I'll end up getting the ultimate pledge level at this rate,
32,000 Stretch goal unlocked:
The 40,000 Goal has been revealed as well.

Yeah it definitely looks like it needs some bulking up. That would be one model which will benefit from being made in metal as opposed to resin.

I wish the ally dragons (Timor) were included in the Army Box level. Maybe even in the Enhanced Battle Box. I will continue to wait before committing.

They are. I could have worded that better. I meant that the fact they will be metal will be a good thing from a stability standpoint.

Looks like things are slowing down a little now .. I was thinking of upping my pledge to an army instead of a starter since it looks like that's the level where they're adding the freebies. Kind of hesitant because I have such little time. I had high hopes for my Sedition Wars stuff and so far I haven't even built a single mini from it and barely skimmed the rules :( I managed to build my Dreamforge leviathan, god knows when I'll get around to painting it. But what can I say, I need new toys...

I'm tempted to go in for a Garrick dragon (I really don't need yet another set of miniatures... I'm trying to trade off a lot of my 40k already as it is,) but I'm a little iffy on the miniatures. The 3d render is pretty sweet, but looking at the picture of a painted model looks mediocre. Worth $35 certainly, but I'm not sure if it's worth my time.

Hello Everybody,
I just thought I'd pop in here and thank you fine folks for chatting about our game. It's pretty cool to see the enthusiasm. Let's see if I can hit on some of the topics so far and provide some input:
Material: Here is what we have planned: All Dragons will be made out of plasticized resin. All troops are going to be white metal. As things are progressing we are looking at ways to add some of the medium sized models into the plasticized resin category or a hybrid of both. It has to make sense from a manufacturing standpoint and from what works for gamers. Nobody wants to lug a box full of metal around, so we're doing our best to give your arms a rest White metal can look beautiful and we're doing our best to get something worthy to you. We've got more painted models coming down the pipe to show you and I think you're going to like them.
3D Designs: Our art department is headed by Adam Meixner, who is very adamant about quality control. The details in his designs is very good and he tends to shoot down castings that don't match the renders closely. We've had lots of prototypes over the months that have not seen the light of day because we weren't happy with them for some reason or other. Trust us guys, we want these things to rock as much as you do. We've come a long way since the early days and things are looking better and better. We are continually improving and re-evaluating our production process. This means adjusting some things to be able to be cast properly. If we think that something might break off during a game, we'll fix it in the design stage. Yes, that warhammer on the Garrick Heavy Infantry could use a little bulking up. Don't worry it'll all look good and still be practical by the time we're done with it.
Painted Models Shown so far: These are from an earlier batch of models and the stuff that's coming out now is looking pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to photographing those babies and showing them to everyone.
Keep the feedback and comments coming. We try to read everything and we'll do our best to respond to any queries or suggestions you might have.
Check out the updated Timor. He needed a little more love from the art department and now looks sufficiently wikked.
Andrej

Well, I backed it.
But I really don't see a reason to up my backing. I really won't benifit. All the stretch goals seem to only benifit the army boxes or those who bought the every model pack. Not the Starter box.

I like the new Timor dragon, but the spikes on the end of the tail look too undetailed compared to the rest, imo (too flat / uniform).

This is an interesting point. Perhaps if they changed it to be every pledge that includes a starter box of $85 or more after add-ons receives the same free additions as the Army Boxes it would help help generate higher pledges from people like you.
I'll send them a message about it. They seem really open to suggestions.

No worries I didn't think it sounded very whiny, rather your concern probably echoes a lot of people's.
The most successful Kickstarters always have mechanisms in place to get you to continually open your wallet to add that new free miniature or accessory etc.
40,000 is sooo close now.

Heck I'd add a few bucks here and there if at every unlock level I got a new/extra random 30, 40, or 50 mm figure added to the starter box.

40,000 stretch goal unlocked. A unit of three of these heavy infantry is now added to all army boxes. (So 9 of them added to the Ultimate level)
The 50,000 level hasn't been fully revealed but it will be a Large Miniature for each faction.
This is the Garrick factions 50,000 miniature.
The silhouttes of the other two factions miniatures:

Thanks everybody for helping us break 40,000 ! The Heavy Infantry has now been unlocked!
@ FacelessMage, Thanks for joining the party! Just to clarify, if you pledge at the 2 Player Box, you qualify for all "Army Box and above" pledge levels. (The 2 Player Box is above the Army Box on the cost scale). Sorry for the confusion if this wasn't clear to anyone. We seem to be finding ways to express things better as the campaign progresses.
@Eldarain, Thanks for your suggestion regarding increasing a pledge through upgrades to qualify for the stretch goals of the level above it. We'll take a look at that.
Re: more free figures at stretch goals. Yes, we'd love to give away more free models. It helps to up the enthusiasm for sure. We'll see how things go for the rest of the campaign. There's some very cool stuff lined up.
@TiTides, Fair criticism about the tail spikes. We're finding our groove as we continue to develop the game and things are always getting tweaked as we go along. If we didn't show anything until we were all satisfied we'd never show anything!
Right now we're working hard to get some photos of white metal and plasticized resin sculpts to everybody. Our designs have won many people over, but I understand the need to see examples of some of the sculpts beyond what we've shown with the painted models. Once folks see the level of quality in our minis, I think that things will be very exciting.

Yes thank you for the clarification.
I think there would be a decent amount of other backers who would be happy to hear about the "Army Box level and higher" thing. Something like a:
"Just rememeber. If you pledged at the $85 Army box and higher, (yes that includes our 2 Starter pack deals.) that you get...."
Oh and when I checked i saw there was a 2 army deal freed up. needless to say I upgraded a bit.
