Those kinds of flyers are my favorite, super danger close gunships.
Judging from the ball turret on the side, this might actually be the case with this flyer. Makes me wish FW would do a Marauder in a gunship configuration.
There are two land raider variants in the background. They look like the Forge World Achilles model. I don't think all that many people have TWO of that model just sitting around... especially if they have that many spare parts and the can full of plastic tubing for conversions. Looks like forgeworld to me.
Here's another pic and a little more info. It is a WIP model, and is indeed a variant of the Storm Eagle. I spoke with one of the guest speakers from Forge World who was sitting at the table where the picture of the Fire Raptor was on display, along with a new tank and a new Fellblade. He said that the Fire Raptor has no transport capacity and will be a true gunship. That's all the info I have on it.
I doubt it considering all the info we have are those photos and a chat with an FW chap, although if the Storm eagle is anything to go by it will probably be £90 + I would guess.
Space Marine Vulture - with much better weapons...quad heavy bolters...on each side with maybe twin linked assault cannons up front - who knows could be something else...
Vultures have historically been grouped with other raptors so it makes sense.
What is the side armor on Stormravans compared to other fliers?

If I was vain I would list stuff to make me sound good here. I decline. It's just a game after all.
House Rule -A common use of the term is to signify a deviation of game play from the official rules.
Do you allow Forgeworld 40k approved models and armies?
Frankly the only thing that could make me like it better would be if you could swap the quad heavy bolters for quad heavy flamers. I don't care how it works out competitively; but if it's called the Fire Raptor it should shoot at least some fire.
Also, if there is a more beautiful visual then a majestic gunship slowly gliding through the air, lighting up the dusk with streams of burning promethium, accompanied by the screams of burning heretics, evildoers, and unlucky bystanders, I just don't know what it is.
