The squid aliens will have two different sized tripod walker vehicles.

Helmets are in the works. I already have versions in ZBrush and CAD ready for plastic injection molding. We just need the funding to make it happen.

Bubble helmets? They WILL happen.

Liking the minis for the GDF but I'm not liking the guns, just looks off to me(on the first mini, it looks ok on the second). Will the minis be mostly one piece casts?

I think the lancers are still my favorite of the factions you've done so far, and their the ones I'm looking forward too the most?

Here is what I posted about the Pulsar Rifles over in the FB Counterblast Group.

Most GDF Pulsar weapons are designed by Illyrian Engineering and not always "human centric". The Alanti have had a terrible time retrofitting their space suit designs to accommodate the human's primate physiology as well.

Here is the brand new 3D print of the IE Pulsar rifle compared to a Mars Pattern Adeptus Astares Bolt Gun. These 3D prints are being mastered in metal right now and will be replaced on all of the GDF sculpts before they go to mold. The metal masters you see in these preview pics are previous editions.



Here is what is currently at the foundry being cast prior to launching the project. I will be using some of these on the sculpts themselves.

Yes. Of the ones you posted that are sculpted by Patrick Keith (me), they are the prototype pieces I sold to Reaper many years back when I pitched the game idea to them.

Fortunately with the way Reaper does business, I retain all the rights to my work and they keep the casting rights on the pieces I sold to them.

You will see all new models of Mrrowl and Jessica for Counterblast from Airlock Games. The Andromedans have been retooled as the Neiran and the Illyrians (like Sparg and the Scout) will have all new models as well.

Awesome love the cat lady sniper and the shinaar as a whole, lancer faction looks like its going to be really cool.

The shinaar would make a real good counts-as for the yindji from deadzone, at the very least I'll have to pick some of these up for that.

Thanks for the enthusiasm everyone! We are very excited to get the project started.

I am currently putting some finishing touches on a few of the sculpts. The backer level graphics still need to be updated with the new pics. The movie is rendered and we even have a little gameplay summary movie with just a hint of how the game works. Brett is finishing up the rules preview pdf and that should be ready to post along with the other items.

The plan is to launch Friday the 14th.

As soon as everything is done.

I will post an announcement here and update the main post on the first page.

It helps us manage our fulfillment schedule better.

Yeah, took me a little while to work out that the only difference is expected delivery dates. Might have been clearer to call them waves rather than EB slots. Many people expect EB to be cheaper.

Seems like a good fit, especially if there's rules to use it somehow. Or not. It's a neat model.

In for $100 but that will probably go up as I figure out which starter sets and which add-on models I want.

I was (and am) extremely tempted to go for the Ultonium level though. Might be easier to sell the game on my friends if they don't have to buy anything to start and I get a bunch of awesome models.
