An army comprised entirely of Marbos (you could fit 23 of them at 1500 points with the current cost) would be the greatest thing ever created by GW. Tbh I'd go ahead and pay $58 to be able to field that. You'd just need a small disclaimer stating that a certain number come in on turn 1 like drop pods.

He also covers every single FOC requirement by himself:

HQ: Marbo is his own commander, he doesn't accept orders from anyone else.

Elites: He is the single most elite bad&%$ in the IG codex.

Troops: He's just a man!

Fast Attack: Fleet, general sneakiness.

Heavy Support: Briefcase of doom

The only thing he can't do (yet) is fly.

Marbo died years ago, Death just hasn't built up the courage to tell him yet.

Death once had a near-Marbo experience

Marbo should have been gone prior to the release of the last Codex, GW just didn't have the courage to tell him.

I think everyone should just cut out the page on Marbo from the previous IG codex and play it with the new AM book.

If anyone asks why you're playing an OOP unit just say "are YOU going to tell Marbo he can't be in this game? Yeah, I didn't think so"

Spoke to Marbo just now. He wanted me to relay his message to his fans.

Only got to use him in two games

I wanted to aim for a Calixian Regiment (Dark Heresy setting sector) and deiced to make Marbo the Malfian, AKA Italian Renaissance Planet. Went about it with bits form the Catachan command squad and the Empire Greatsword kit. Only one in my Army with a feather in his cap; that's just how he rolls.

This thread needs more marbo pics.

I expect him to return in a dataslate. He's still available from the GW webstore, just as a metal model and direct only.

Nice Marbo Variants (what do we call a plural of Marbo) guys.

Imagine a guerrilla supplement for guard. A codex of hardened Marbos that all go by a different name and all have a specialty.

20 models in an army taking on whole other normal armies haha.

Just make a suitably large scenic base, perch your old fig on top, and field him as a Imperial Knight.

Rules should be pretty close, right?

Just put him on stilts. He will do fine.

Actually he chooses whever he wants to show up on cameras, or on any other image for that matter.

My Marbo was an Elysian with a Demo Charge ready to throw.

If he shows up as a Dataslate, that will be the end of it. That will be the pinnacle proof that we are just being squeezed for cash.

There was no reason to delete him.

Codex: Marbo would be hilarious, though.

He's... strange.

He is a lot of fun, very characterful, and I love his fluff and design ideals to pieces, but he's also quite potentially a game changer.

Of course, he's meant to be.

Sometimes he backfires and kills himself though, so it's all god.

They should bring him back with the following rules added

Statline should be:

WS5 BS5 S3 T3 W10 I5 A4 Ld7 Sv4+

Special Rules:
Keeps all his special rules, but gains one:
Plot Armour:
Marbo is even more important to this plot than any other character in your army. Marbo's saving throw is invulnerable.
Marbo also benefits from the "Eternal Warrior Special Rule", just for kicks.

I'd pay 11.99 for that dataslate.
