If you want jack heavy but are willing to use beasts instead of Jacks pMorgul with 2 units of beast handlers can do it extremely well.

I like EXerxis for 'Beast-heavy Skorne too, he makes Titans really fast. Automatically Appended Next Post: If you're going to do Cygnar keep in mind that you don't have to run the 'Jacks on your warcaster, Cygnar has the best selection of Journeymen and 'Jack Marshals around. Start with the all-in-one box and a Nemo (any of the three, really) when you feel ready to start swapping stuff out.

I think I'm wanting to run with Protectorate or Cygnar at this point. A buddy of mine may be starting this up with me and the two player starter thingy would be a good investment if I was really going to go Protectorate.
I don't necessarily want to go Jack Heavy, but I love the look of both those factions Jacks.

Protectorate are probably the best Warmachine faction apart from Cyriss at running relatively Jack heavy. They have a unit called the Choir of Menoth which is a really good jack support unit.
I was looking at Khador recently too because I love their casters and their jacks but I don't really like a lot of there infantry models. I love a lot of the infantry from Cygnar though, but not as much their jacks and casters... I'm so damn picky and there isn't a Warmachine faction that's just right for me haha. Considering Cygnar and Cryx currently. But yeah if you did want to go jack heavy Khador wouldn't be the place to look.
If you went Cygnar or Protectorate, check out their all in one army boxes, you should still be able to get theirs.
Damn now I'm considering Protectorate too...

If your lucky you may find a Menoth all in one box floating around either on the Internet or at your FLGS. Great way to get you started in your Menoth army. The cygnar all in one box is out this month. Comes with a 35 pt army, rulebook, and a index card on how to run your army. Great value it's around a 40% discount if you bought the models individual.

Should I just skip the starter box thing and go for the all in one?

You could do both as there isn't any crossover. Do you mean the two player starter or the Menoth Battlebox?
The all in ones are very very good value and get you a reasonably competitive 35pt army.

Are you starting with someone else, who wants to play Khador? It'll be good value then. I still maybe would suggest the all in one but I'll let someone more experienced confirm...

Well, the two player box would be more of a low cost trial run before sinking significant amounts of money into the game.
