Took a peek at FFG. They have some Dust stuff that I have absolutely no use for like their IS-3 equivalent but I want that tank. At $9, it's very, very tempting. I'll have to check out what their shipping costs are like to me since it's been years since I ordered direct from them (iirc it was when they had their AT-43 blowout sale).

Yeah, that FFG sale would be a lot more exciting if their shipping was not so expensive. 4 Zverograd boxes (for the building) are $36, but the shipping is another $20 on top of that.

Still totally worth it for those building IMO.

My wife's looking at Wyrd's BF specials. (she was the one that alerted me to them.) I'll be getting one or two of the prereleases for sure.

If you're not going for the limit break LE models, Wyrds sales are really only best for the non-standard stuff. Coloured plastic crews, special models like the Nightmare Coryphee, etc. Pre-release models are just paying full price for the privilege of buying direct from Wyrd.

Unless of course you just have to have the model now, which I totally get

Yeah, and I missed out last year in getting some of their Art books for Game of Thrones. Was hoping they'd be around this year, but nope.

I am holding out on Miniature Market having something good.

If I find Miniature Market lacking I shall have to continue my weekly looting of whatever FRP is offering up on a daily basis.

If FRP turns the clearances up to 11 I probably won't even bother with Miniature Market.

After all, Black Friday's supposed to be about either getting up early or staying up late for the bargains, isn't it? People getting soft with all these weekend long sales and sales starting during the daylight hours.

There's actually some good stuff in there, but I pretty much have or don't really NEED it. Halo for $75, USAriadna Army box for $50; $32 for any of the MERCS starters; good stuff there. I might place an order later in the week for some dribs and drabs (if Armada wave 2 actually goes In Stock).

I picked up some extra Deadzone / Dreadball stuff I'd been wanting for conversion purposes but didn't want to pay the normal discount price for. Got some Enforcer Peacekeepers for $15.00 and made Free shipping with my total order, meaning I got a better deal for them (unbundled) than I would have by buying them through Mantic's Warpath PM.

The best deals I've seen at Miniature Market's current sale are for the Mantic Deadzone and Mars Attacks battlezones. If you need any (I don't), I'd say now's the time to pick them up.

I picked up a few Malifaux items, but they didn't have a lot I wanted on sale. However, with the other Malifaux stuff I wanted, it made it worthwhile to order from them rather than locally, so it's fine.

Whew glad I grabbed all my Peacekeepers at $10 for five through the Deadzone KS.

It took four of us to get enough from mini market's sale to get over $100 for free shipping. I got some dice and Dreadball Azure Forest, my buddies got a buncha Bolt Action, Nameless team + booster, and Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective reprint (one of the best games ever btw, if anyone loves a good mystery, it's like 70% off!)

Those were the days! Truthfully I never needed many Peacekeepers, which is why I didn't bite back then, but now I'd like to have 5 just to play around with and convert.

I also got another Plague starter for $21, which I never thought I'd want more of at any price. I still think it's a flawed kit - most of the models in it could have been great but miss due to posing or design problems. But it is extremely useful for conversions.

I had a budget for Malifaux, but was turned off by the way they decided to do their damn exclusives. Just let us pick already! I'm already paying more than from an online store, they are getting a higher cut since it's a direct sale, and they cant be bothered to let us choose which figure we get at $150?

So WWX is getting most of that instead. Looking to add a few vehicles and the wave 2 hired hands. Maybe a bag as well... Quite good deals on those!
