I generally use it to my advantage.
I will always go second at the start if I can to push for a double turn as linking your 1st and 2nd turn together can prove to be almost game winning at times.
Always funny to see another plays face when a huge unit of liberators pops up behind them then charges them the next turn before they can do anything :p
Also means shooting units lay down a crazy amount of fire too.
A unit of stormcasts with xbows gets 3 shots when stationary.
So 2 turns for each of them removes most units quite quickly.
