Ive been building a Stompa from scratch on and off for the past year, and its turned out just a smidge larger than the GW Stompa, and it got me thinking has anyone ever attempted to build a Mega Gargant, i see a few Warlord/Imperator Titans and such about and they look awesome!, but being an ork man myself i want to see a truly massive Ork Gargant! Does anyone know anyone who has built one, or even have pictures to share? Orrrrrr.....Does anyone have any ideas on how they would go about building one?? I was thinking using Mechano to make the inside framework, being easy to put together etc, then using thick plasticard to make all the armour panels. Let me know what you think

Nice Stompa! I think that to make a Gargant, you would simply need to use the same techniques as scratch building a Stompa, but on a larger scale. I would say that the reason that Gargants are so rare is because GW haven't made any rules for them, whereas there are Apoc datasheets for every type of Imperial Titan.

Hmm, No rules aye? Thats a bugger... But im thinking i am going to give building one a go, on that scale there is so many details you could add, such as a full ork crew loading weapons, a big hatch on the back that opens up to reveal battlewagons, trukks, dredds/kans....lol possibilities are endless

I don't know anyone personally who's built one, but they've been at Games Day events and similar... I'll have a rummage for pics and see if anything inspiring comes up. Yours is looking good so far! A friend of mine is planning on sticking a Stompa on top of a Baneblade to make a tracked Gargant...
