My Gaming group ( the Masters Of Devastation) decided to have a full 40k Tournament on monday, so to make the event a little more official and to get everyone to take it seriously i decided to throw together a trophy for the event! made entirely out of pieces from my bits box!

C&C welcome as Always!

Thanks!

Nice. Might I ask where the three prongs holding the skull up are?

A worthy trophy indeed.

THe skulls are all old halloween decorations, the wires made from telephone wire and all the rest is pieces from an old Mcfarlane Interlink 6 model. Needless to say everyone has now gone a bit competetive over it and the good natures pre-battle name calling has begun lol.

I like it, but it seems there are a few spots that the gold paint missed. Other than that, a trophy I would indeed enjoy winning!

THe "missed" areas are an intentional effect i was going for. I applied black spray then sprayed gold directly on top while it was still wet. The 2 paints drying at different rates makes a nice cracked effect that i feel makes it look more like an old trophy! ^_^

ahh! In that case, good job! Another good way to achieve a similar effect with sray paint is to spray one colour and let it dry, then spray another over that, let it sit for around 10 seconds, then scratch at it with sandpaper or a rough material.
