Well my personal opinion is go for it! I hate GW treeman with avengance, and i find the Ent model is just too 'samey' and has no character.

Im looking forward to this, and im liking the shape. Give it an owl and it'll be instawin

Good outline I think - MAYBE the legs need to be bulked up a bit if they're going to support the weight of the tree, but I think I remember the LOTR ents having pretty spindly legs in the movie so I guess that's an aesthetic thing on my part.

What are you going to flesh it out with, drywall compound?

I do think you've nailed the upper body for sure.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.

The body looks a bit long in comparison to the legs, maybe shorten it or lengthen the legs. Also, the pose is a bit static imo.
Otherwise, looks good

@ 1-up: i'm probably going to use super sculpty firm
@ Irdiumstern: i was thinking the same thing, but i didn't want to make it too large, right now it's about 4 inches.
@ every/anyone: do you think the size is good, or make the legs larger.
