just finished off my first few models, had them sitting around and just decided to give it a go ended up finishing the whole box. Few pics pointers much appreciated.

For a first it is really nice, some tips I can give you are maybe to use some washes, and thin down the paint a tiny bit more. I like the Object source Lighting, way better than I could ever do. Good Start , hope to see more.

I didn't realize until now, but are beer bottle caps the same size as infantry bases?

Someone make a drunken Ork army and base them with those, stat!

the second pic theres a marine torso stuck to a beer cap, I have a couple more shots but takes ages to upload them, their quite large shots. Thin down the paint? Do I just add a bit of water or what? Also with washes do I more or less just cover certain areas with it for it to go in the recesses or wat? dont really know too much about any of the stuff

Pretty good really. More then good enuff to use on the table.
