Use the Forge World models, or use Catachan Command pack with Tallarn details GS'ed on.

Yeah, there are basically two options. The expensive way (forgeworld/trying to find old metal tallarn models) or the cheap way (converting catachan or cadian plastics).

One requires money, the other time. It's sort of up to you, based on what you have more of.

What about making the whole army made of harad warriors.
If your army only has the harad warriors in it they wont look too small and there is the harad command (I think)

The only problem with Harad minis is that any lasguns you give them will be ENORMOUS since they're scaled for "heroic" scale minis, rather than the 25mm LotR figs.

You could really do a command squad using regular minis. Command squad guardsmen have the same profiles as veteran guardsmen, so just paint their sashes a different color to denote their rank.

You can also check out some of Mistress of Mini’s posts on the subject. She was converting Cadians to Tallerans with only a little bit of green-stuff work. If you don’t like the Laurence of Arabia look, you could check out the British SAS in Africa during WW2. Lots of jeeps and stowage and a wealth of ideas for any modeler.

I used these chaps.
They look to be suitably grand for a command squad.
It would get expensive buying them from GW but keep an eye on e-bay for them, they are metal so easily stripped.
The position of the gun would make it pretty easy to modify the bolter to any type of rifle/special weapon.

Alternately you could venture doing business with someone like me to make a master set of pieces you can mould yourself.
