So waay back in december I was looking at these blogs and came across Grey Death's blog and loved how he painted grey dont know why but I just did, so it made me start thinking about an IG army that involves grey. After a while and a few test models i hated it and decided to go twords a more Vietnam type look the catachan green and ork hide shade with a little bit of brown, and it looks fairly nice. I will post the army list tomorrow and some pictures when my sister comes back with her expensive camera which takes pictures fairly well, but i just needed to say I played a game last saturday at my local gaming club and since i just bought a vendetta and marbo, which i have never used before i decided to do some experimenting. I played chaos space marines in a 1000 point game i took second turn so i can have last turn and had two executioners ( one with Pask ) and my command squad as well as my 3 missile launcher teams. Hopping to do damage before my vendetta comes on ,which has my vets with flamer, melta, and plasma, I tryed staying back but in the first turn everyone died but pask's tank, thank god for that! When my turn came Pask anialated his hq which was a man on a hound of korne, im not sure because i dont play chaos but all i know is he cost alot of points, in the next round i brought on marbo and the vendetta, he had 3 rhinos filled i blew up one with the vendetta then droped marbo who blew up all of them but 2 out of one of the rhinos, but to be bested in assult, but after that pask and the vendetta combined with the vets where amazing! At the end of the game the only ones left where the 2 that killed marbo! And since that game i know that marbo will always be a part of my army.

Commannnnn update

My sister will be home in 30min so i will post pictures, but at my store we had a glatitorial battle called dreadnaut arena which only alowed walkers and i picked up a dreadnauht and converted it to look like a guardsmen was driving it, pictures in 30!

Sorry but this computer is frustrating it keeps messing up so this is the 3rd time i tryed to post these, i have close ups of most people but im not posting them now because of the computer but if you want to see a certant person just tell me c&c welcomed!

I cant work out the details on the chimera but from what i can see it looks good.

I don't like the shotguns, they just don't look right, they remind me of the assualt rifle from halo.

The dreadnought looks cool.

some nice infantry you have but in some photos you can't work out the details like the one with your general.

I like the sandbags on Pask's tank.

Thanks, and haha i thought it looked like the assult rifles from halo too, but i hate halo so thats not good. And also planed on redoing the commander that was just a time filler i used random bits and alot of gs, plus that ones one of my first conversions so not so good

Semi-undercoated dred, and did some conversion pro-to type guns i'll post the pics tomorrow and i ordered new washed and some more brushes last night so as soon as they come i can paint again!

Back from the beach and my paints arived started painting harker, the drednaught, and one of a couple objective markers i made

Hi mate nice work so far! the stormtroopers are out now in a five man squad with a sarge and four troops. Also i agree with cosmic the halo rifles are nice but not as shotguns.

I like the dread, that's a good idea. consider it stolen!

an interesting way to make shotguns is to cut a flamer front and back off, and attached it to a lasgun that has lost its barrel, there is a thread showing it on here somewhere i have just forgot where. it works well.

Thanks i'll check that out, and to the one stealing my idea, the body i used was the sentinal driver which helped so i didnt have to create a sitting guardsmen but scratch
