So i recently decided to do a MASSIVE repaint ... i.e. my entire IG force. They used to have kahki fatigues and blood red body armor.

It is not a power army by any stretch and is quite "fluffy" ... which is the way i like it ...

I decided the "clean cut" look of most cadian based IG forces was just not for me anymore. So to accompany the entire repaint were also dozens of little conversions to get that more "rag tag" / "we're from a hive world" look.

So here is my progress so far ... let me know what you think ... or any suggestions you may have.

Nicely done; the Tanks look fantastic there, lurking in the Back Lines, ready to pour immense firepower into the Enemy. Nice work!

I like your GS berets, I myself used Westwind Productions beret heads, but I think that GW heads with GS might actually look better.

Yeah i looked for other heads and the Berets always seemed too bulky ... or too tiny ... or just didn't look right ...

So i GS'd my own WAY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!

Love the tanks, but the berets look really good, where do you get your unhelmeted heads from, as there is only so far you can go with catachan heads

Looking good! I really like the wounded heavy weapons spotter!

Are you going to rebase them though?

Yes, I will definitly be rebasing the whole army ... but i'll probably wait until the repaint is done before i jump into that.

That's my boy!!!

I can really appreciate the army coming together now and the color scheme really works.
Berets look cool and the shoulder pad coloring for the Veterans is a nice touch bringing the colors together.

Son, I can not wait to get together again, it has been far too long since your I.G. have been to war.
My Imperial Guard 239th Infantry Regiment would be proud to serve along side your 26th Volanis Grenadiers in any conflict.

I just realized something, between your Marines and I.G. and my Marines, my I.G. and my S.O.B. we could probably field close to 16K of troop heavy Imperials!!!

May need to reinforce the gaming table and the floor beneath it.

Anyway, I am looking forward to your next update.
