Hi, I just wanted to share my work in progress, a DA Deathwing venerable dreadnought with custom assault cannon and sarcophagus (the attachment at least, hehe) and is still missing a lot of detail parts. It has been quite a challenge to build, lots of filling and putty were used but I'm happy with the outcome as of now. It's pretty hefty, by far the heaviest model I have built. Anyways, I'd like to know what you guys think and if there's anything you'd like to improve on. Thanks =)

Yeah, so this is coming along well.

The one thing I don't get is what he's supposed to be doing. In the top picture, he looks like he's just standing around, shooting the assault cannon into the air, and in the bottom picture, he looks like he's just about to fall over.

Your one-stop website for batreps, articles, and assorted goodies about the men of Folera: Foleran First Imperial Archives. Read Dakka's favorite narrative battle report series The Hand of the King. Also, check out my commission work, and my terrain.

Abstract Principles of 40k: Why game imbalance and list tailoring is good, and why tournaments are an absurd farce.

Read "The Geomides Affair", now on sale! No bolter porn. Not another inquisitor story. A book written by a dakkanought for dakkanoughts!

I don't get it either, haha! The model is actually poseable, I've stuck wire in between the joints so its easy to disassemble. I have no base for it yet so I was trying different poses, thanks =)

That looks pretty Dark! Very Gothic, it looks more like the old heresy stuff very good work.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

That's the look I'm aiming for. Old and beat up but patched with newer parts - still have to finish up on the little details, can't wait to paint it! Thanks for looking =)
