Hello people, here is my Orky Burnas intial thoughts which I have put in a list, this is by no means a finished list as I have put it here for feedback and changes.

Basically this is 150 points over so it need trimming down to 1000 points.

Might have to change some Boyz for Grotz to keep the cost down...
Also I'm thinking about giving the Battlewagon a Killkannon but that will take up even more points...

Don't take looted wagons. Like, ever.

Err....well there a more durable transport than a Trukk (which Burna boyz can't have anyway) and can better weapon options such as skorchas. I think thie benefits outweigh the bad points but maybe if you would would elaborate I could recondsider.

Now I don't know if you messed up on your math there but you shouldn't have been 150 points over.

Now the looted wagon is is not the best choice at all, ever. Dropping it for a trukk in this case will get you the ability to move 18" on the first turn and will give you an extra burna. If that extra point of AV and the skortcha are worth that trade then that is up too you. "don't touch dat" is not really a huge problem though it is annoying when you roll it. Now the real problem here is the only anti tank you have is the one deff rolla and the 2 power claws from the boys units, this will cause you problems, the only option I can see around it is to drop the skortcha trakks for a small loota squad. This might not be a huge problem at the 1000 point level but depending on what list you play against it could be your killer. This problem will become less of an issue as you scale this list up, going up to 1250 and then 1500 you will have more room for that second battle wagon, a bigger squad of lootas, deff koptas and all that support type stuff.

Well I am taking it as far as I would like within the boundries of keeping it competetive and keeping personal expense down. You must remeber that thses kind of lists are generally random and unstable, so adding 2 squads of boyz keeps the list more secure, if thats what you're raving about.

you could change the 20 strong squads for 12 + trukk, if you got the trukks for it. There is also the option to drop one of the skortcha trakks for a min sized grot unit for back feild objective sitting.
