Well, I've finally finished my resculpting and painting of my beloved dark angels chapter master!

It's taken about a week in all, done in fits and starts and including about 2 days worth of bus journeys to do the design sketches..lol

Ok so here's the original model for Brother Captain Omas, followed by the new one..

I'd love some feedback particularly about the sculpting as it;s the most I've done on one model..thanks guys!

Brilliant freehand work. Love the original Chapter Master but the new one is just as good!

great job at first i thought it was a termi lol but i would like to take a better look of the helmet looks interesting

Thanks, some of them even have a background. basically i love the religious aspect of the dark angels so I based the freehand on mostly christian style artwork. The Left greave is based on the account of faze V in the DA codex for example..

thanks! not a termi, just termi shoulder pads

i like the way the one guy is holding the helmet. it's not a pose you see often in 40k modelling (i think only one of the masters of the chapter models has it IIRC).
