I have wanted to do this for so long, bought a 10 man Catachan unit and started my Traitor Guard as an addition to my Chaos Marines. I plan on buying 50 Catachan Guard to make a 50 man platoon. Here is the first 5 guys, I hope you enjoy this thread. All I gotta do now is paint....and do the next 5 guys.

I want them rough looking, like they been through alot, no matching uniforms and military posses. Blue Levi's and white t-shirts and black leather vests, they gotta have that look like they have been through the sh*t. So weather up there gear, maybe a few bandages and a chaos banner bearer is needed so gotta get one of them, I got my command squad with a General no big deal. Lotsa Hvy and Speacial weapons, pics I will post latter. Just these freakin Catachan guard guys left to do, there only vehicle type shall be 1/35 scale Strikers acting as Chimerias, maybe a Mantacore thats about it. I though on walkers and even calvery, who knows it may happen.

ok got the first paint on my Traitor Guard....I call them the 127th Catachan Chaingang attached to my Black Legion marines. I will have a 50 man force, no heavy weapons each 10-man unit will get 2 flamers. Vehicles will be Chimera's and maybe a Mantacore. More to follow as this unit needs dry brushing and final touch ups.

I mixed cadians and catachans for my guard

One last thing, are they going to be veterans? Because basic units can have 1 special weapon and 1 heavy, not 2 special, and normally everyone uses 3 flamers in vets.

Uh...the pictures are way too blurry to judge the models but from what I can see these guys don't look like Traitor Guard. There's nothing distinguishing them from normal Catachans with a different paintjob, from what I can see.

There's not enough Chaos iconography.

I am trying to paint them to look like escaped prisoners picked up by a chaos force, yellow jump suits and basic weapons....the two flamers came with the 10-man box set and well might as well us them I need a total of 50 guys. I have my HQ platoon with all the hvy weapon and support teams, but these yellow guys are gonna be my basic guard blob squad. Chaos icons and markings are to follow soon after all my touch up work.

yeh i think i need more icons and posiblely some tenticles from chaos spawn

TBH orange jump suits fits the bill of sci fi criminals more than yellow. Just paint on some chaos arrows on their skin, it'll be a bit of a time consuming job but it'll work nicely

Just inked these guys and dry brushed them some, thinking on adding a few Choas wet/dry stickers or wait and give them a banner. My Vet sgt looks tough, hoping to do more with him....I will keep sending pics on updates....

Love the concept for your Traitor guard, I just started making an army of Khorne Guardsmen myself. Seeing traitor guard blogs always makes my day, I think the yellow is a different and unique then the traditional orange for a prisoner and imo it works. Look forward to seeing the chaos fluff you add to these guys so far the squad looks great.

This is the vet sgt, I will have to make a choas banner for the unit. Thinking on some spiky bits but my bits box is looking kinda empty at the moment more to follow.

i really like the tech priest thou he looks more like a cultist

These guys are all former prisoners so having techy stuff such as his servotor arm was removed and well they just turned chaos so changes will happen. more to follow
