Looking for some criticism on my latest model, overall I'm very happy with the results but if there was something to to improve I'd like to know where it is.

It's very good work. I would have gone for more shading and highlights on his red robe but it's good.

Where's his face gone?

Looks great. Nice freehand on the runes but like Elmodiddly said the red areas could use some shading.

The face was a stylistic choice, I wanted him to be more mysterious. But thanks for the feedback about the red ill shade it down a little more.

The freehanding isn't all that difficult, just patience and layers of watered down paint.

I would paint the eyes. I think green would stand out against the red robes.

Honestly, it doesn't make him look mysterious, it just makes the face look unfinished. Which is dissapointing because the rest of the model looks great.

Yeah I agree with the painting the eyes consensus.

I'd probably go blue like the gems, or purple? maybe?

Thanks for the feedback, I did the eyes last night/this morning I'll post a new picture tonight, after I shade down the creases in his cloak.

Nice solid colours which fits the Eldar down to the ground. Agreed with eyes but what you were going for sounds like it works but not in the picture

The mini is very neat and 'clean'. Perfect for gaming. If the whole army ends up like this it will look very nice. If this was my mini it would only be a base coat and ready to highlight\shade haha. But I like to paint waaay too much.

very impressive. neat and clean works for eldar and certain marine chapters. the only thing i'd add is some wash/shading and highlights to the robes. don't dirty up the runes or other parts though.

First thought: Paint the eyes.

2nd thought: Maybe he's going for the mysterious no features ghosthelm of editions past?

The painting is crisp and the shading and gems are fine but could do with some finer work (depending on the fabrics, there can be a multitude of subtle differences.).

Glowing eyes would be great, and you could try and make the runes crisper if you can.
