be a bit more precise with thread headings, next time. And i see it's your first post, so Welcome to Dakka! I think the trick here is once you have the right consistency green stuff, make a blob the size of the hair, then cut away with a fine modeling tool, and then again to make very small lines on the head to show detailed hair. It's not really something I usually use, other peoples should know more.

Firstly, let me say that this is as easy as it is possible. Look at my army to see many examples.

It basically works like this. Start by mixing a small amount of GS. Then, put down a VERY thin coat of superglue on top of the head. Smush the GS down onto it, wait a few minutes for the superglue to dry (superglue and GS behave strangely with each other).

Then, you start crafting the hair. This involves making a lot of parallel and V shaped strokes in the GS until you get what you want.

Welcome to Dakka link kid! Ok, so I wasn't as far off as I thought, blob on the head, cut to size, add detail. As before, I don't use the GS for hair, because they always keep spare heads in the Gwar!dian sets, should I need them. I try to avoid using them when I can, I'm not so good at painting heads etc.
